The 315,000 sq. Ft office building is the first smart certified building in India. Not only did the SBC team certify the Amar Tech Centre, but continues to work together to identify gaps, opportunities, and bring heightened innovation through the SBC network to change management and onboarding services. Amar Tech Centre is a grade A office building located in Viman Nagar, Pune, India. This project is set to offer a total of 315,000 sq. Ft of business space. The project is located in the heart of the city, just minutes away from the airport, malls, and IT Parks. It is equipped with modern amenities including a grand welcoming lobby, lounge area & cafeteria. The building has a technology infrastructure, innovative smart building approach, integrative sustainable design, and stable connectivity. The project is aimed to cater to the growing commercial needs of the city.

The Smart Building Certification, which has been developed to promote wellbeing, sustainability, performance, innovation, and health and safety in the built environment, recognises buildings that have smart tech infrastructure in place to evaluate a building’s behaviour and performance.

The requirements for the Smart Building Certificate are classified in 6 categories

1) building usage 2) building performance 3) health safety and security 4) building environment 5) user experience and collaboration 6) connectivity and integrative design. Amar Builders strives to score as high as possible for each category, but also with heightened focus on the benchmark and what can be learned from others following a similar journey. These themes set a framework for continuous exploration and discussion.
