Smart Building Program | Certification
The certification is not about the data alone, but the tangible improvements that are continuously made to the asset. Let us not re invent the wheel, let us learn from each other collectively
Assess, Validate, and Certify
In Design | Core & Shell
Validate the approach. Is your building in the build phase or about to be delivered? Assess the design and technical infrastructure in place for your potential buyers/tenants to give clear view on what is possible with your building. A great way to create transparency as well as validate smart designs for the market. Achieving certification means you are ready for potential buyers, investors, property managers and tenants.
In Operation | Activated
Is your building in use? This certification goes beyond only the technical infrastructure and looks at how the technical infrastructure is being used to optimize, improve, and manage the efficiency of the building. This certification is useful for property managers, owners, and tenants to maximize what the building and the technical infrastructure have to offer.
Benchmark your building against the best we have found | Here are a few
At Smart Building Collective we believe that certification should be conducted collectively. Our partners, buildings, and community inform our SBC framework, and we have instilled a peer review model to invoke the knowledge and expertise from the community. When you certify with us, you certify with a collective of experts and get 3rd party view on your property.
Peer Review Model
We Certify each smart building project (infrastructure and process) with 3 independent certified assessors in a peer review model. They will guide you through certification as well as support improvements.
Improvement Support
You will receive 3 useful opinion pieces from your assessors on your smart building situation as well as ideas for improvement. This way the tool is as much about guidance and insight as it is about certification.
