We are honoured and pleased to welcome Onno Willemse to the Board of Advisors Smart Building Certification (SBC).

In the development of our certification, Onno has played a significant role in the past 18 months by sharing his experience of landmark smart building projects. Onno has constantly pushed us to take SBC beyond technology towards outcomes, context, verticals, and value drivers. Through this work we have continuously evolved the certification into what we are now proud to position as a transformational ecosystem.

Over the past 10 years, Onno has had roles both in technology companies as well as smart building advisory which has been very instrumental in connecting business value with smart building technology.

Onno has amongst others been involved in the development of The Edge Amsterdam, Cisco’s smart building in San Jose and Toronto, Intel SRR3 India, MOL HQ Hungary and recently he helped Booking.com and Nike with their smart building programs.

With his enthusiasm and global network of real estate corporate executives, facility managers, building automation and IoT-solutions he will help us to scale our certification across the globe.
