MOL CAMPUS JOINS
THE SMART BUILDING COLLECTIVE
MOL Group, a leading international integrated oil and gas company, proudly announces that its state-of-the-art headquarters, the MOL Campus, has joined the esteemed Smart Building Collective. The MOL Campus is a testament to the company's commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
The MOL Campus, strategically located in Budapest, stands as a symbol of MOL's forward-thinking strategy. The architectural marvel seamlessly integrates a 28-storey Tower with the connected Podium, forming a unified campus that spans 86,000 square meters. The Tower, soaring 120 meters high, is designed to accommodate 2,500 employees, bringing together colleagues from three different districts and nine locations.
"Our new headquarters is more than just a building; it's a reflection of our commitment to creating a harmonious work environment and ensuring efficient work performance in line with the MOL strategy," said Péter Varga, MOL Campus Ltd. Managing Director.
Designed with a focus on modernity, sustainability, and collaboration, the MOL Campus adopts the Activity-Based Workplace (ABW) model. Employees have the flexibility to choose their workspace based on their tasks, fostering a dynamic and adaptive work environment.
The interior spaces are complemented by green areas that traverse the entire building, promoting collaboration, relaxation, and inspiration. These spaces, from the central atrium to the SkyDeck, not only enhance the well-being of employees but also act as community catalysts.
The MOL Campus leverages cutting-edge technology for natural light and temperature regulation, ensuring optimal working conditions for its colleagues. The building embraces its surroundings and sets new benchmarks for sustainability in Hungary. Achieving both the BREEAM Excellent rating and the LEED Platinum certification, the MOL Campus is the first in the country to meet such stringent sustainability standards.
Innovative solutions, including a 900 m2 solar panel system, geothermal heating and cooling, and graywater recycling, have contributed to the MOL Campus becoming a beacon of environmental responsibility.
By joining the Smart Building Collective, MOL is reinforcing its commitment to advancing smart building technologies. The journey represents a strategic move towards a more connected, efficient, and intelligent workplace.
"We are excited to be part of the Smart Building Collective. MOL Campus exemplifies our dedication to innovation, sustainability, and creating an optimal work environment for our employees. Contributing to the industry and supporting the evolution of smart buildings is a key interest in moving us to a more sustainable and healthy future." added Dóra Alexa, MOL Campus Digital Program Manager.
